With Bookinglayer you can integrate live chat platforms and communicate with your potential customer through the Booking Engine.

The first step is to create an account in one of the live chat platforms we support; Tawk.to, Zopim, Freshchat or Intercom.

Please note that Zopim and Freshchat will not be enabled in the mobile version of the booking engine since their widget's position cannot be changed and they cover important parts of the mobile booking flow. For other chat platforms, we recommend that you position the widget on the right-hand side at a medium height.

In this example, we will integrate Tawk.to. Creating an account is simple, free and doesn't require much information.

Once you have created the account, go to Administration > Chat widget. Then, under Direct Chat Link copy the ID after chat/.

Don't forget to turn the Widget Status to active.

Then, go to Sales > Booking Engine > Chat and paste the ID under Tawk.to.

The chat will now be visible in your Booking Engine. The communication with the user will take place via the platform's website or App, so make sure you have the tab open or have downloaded the App.

Users will be able to open the chat and send messages directly.

From the Backoffice of the live chat platform, you will be able to reply, see user behaviour and much more.

Remember you can change your status if you are not available!
