If you have several identical rooms set up in the Backoffice, but don't want to display all of them in the Booking Engine, you can work with room quantities or you can set up the same room type for those rooms.
1. Room Quantities
In the configuration field of accommodation, look for a setting called ''Room Quantity''. If you can't find the setting contact your onboarding specialist or support.
You will have the option to assign a different backoffice name for each room, while all the other info such as product description, price, and so on will be exactly the same.
2. Same room type
Set up identical rooms in the Backoffice with the same room type, i.e 4x Deluxe Double:
For better visualization in the Booking Engine, choose the same Booking Engine title for all identical rooms with the same type, and a different Backoffice title for better management through the calendar and reports.
The Booking Engine will then display only one room per room type inside a package. It's important to note that, after the first room is fully booked, the system will present the following one, until they are all booked out.
Note: Since all Deluxe Double Rooms are set up with the same Booking Engine title, users won't see the Backoffice titles such as: "Deluxe Double #1", "Deluxe Double #2", and "Deluxe Double #3".
This feature works only inside a package. Do you only offer accommodation and not packages? How to still display one room per room type at once?
In this case, you have to create a package that includes all the accommodation options with the same room type. For example, your business has three double rooms, three single rooms, and three family suites. In order to present only one of each in the Booking Engine, you should create a package per room type and add the Accommodation Title as Booking Engine Title (e.g. Double Room, Single Room, Family Suite). Add the pictures and descriptions accordingly.
The client will now only see one room per room type in your Booking Engine.
